Are You Ready to File Your VAT Return On-line?

This breakfast seminar was held in conjunction with Sage, to explain the changes that are happening with regard to your VAT Return, and included a demonstration of on-line filing using Sage software.
The seminar covered practical advice on:
- What changes are happening with the VAT Scheme and when they are coming into force;
- What those changes will mean for your business;
- How to register with HMRC for on-line filing;
- How to run a VAT Return in Sage, including reviewing previously submitted VAT Returns;
- Sage software upgrade requirements.

- Maximising allowable expenses against rental income
- The new rules for furnished holiday lettings in the European Union and the tax advantages available
- A banker’s view on current lending, given by a banking representative
