Gliderol Industrial & Garage Doors Limited has made a real impact on the UK market since its Australian holding company set up a manufacturing facility over here some 18 years ago. Right from the beginning we have acted for the company and have seen it grow into a substantial business within the UK.
While Gliderol fill more and more openings with their quality doors we provide monthly management accounts. This is backed up by specific tax, VAT and other financial advice regarding UK markets. In addition to these we offer the usual services from annual accounts to tax returns. Our relationship with Gliderol is a perfect example of our philosophy of “being close to clients”. It’s worked for 18 years.

AQUAID FLOWING IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION
Aquaid (Tyne & Wear) is a successful franchise business that does more than supply bottled water and flavoured cordials; as well as providing water dispensers and purifiers for hire – it also dispenses hope. Gordon and Emir Dobson have been supplying beautiful water, drawn from below the Lammemuir Hills, from their Washington base since 2002. The business has gone from strength to strength in a short time and now has over 1000 customers stretching down to Teesside and North Yorkshire.
However, that success has a spin-off for those in need. Emir, who originally came from Malawi, has not forgotten her African roots. For every bottle sold, 40 pence goes towards work carried out by Christian Aid on Third World community programmes. Gordon and Emir saw the fruits of their donations during a visit to Ethiopia in December 2004.
We have been able to help Aquaid’s flow of profits and donations through a full accountancy service which covers year-end and management accounts, payroll and VAT services, annual and management accounts, tax and VAT advice, wages, P35s and P11Ds. We also have another role as consumers. Our two Aquaid dispensers ensure that all our staff are well watered during the busy working day.
