Peter Stoddart FCA
Peter joined TTR Barnes when his sole practitioner practice was acquired by the firm in late 2016 and continues on a part-time basis to contribute to the work of our Tax Department.
Prior to this Peter has had a career of nearly 50 years as a Chartered Accountant, which has covered an unusually broad range of both smaller local firms and international organisations.
Peter’s extensive experience in accounting and taxation services incorporates a wealth of industries including; printing, automotive, retail and finance. He also brings with him senior level experience dealing with large-scale industries such as steel, shipbuilding and the automotive manufacturer Nissan.
His work within the public sector includes holding the position of Operations Director of an RDA, being appointed to two terms as a member of the Competition Commission and his non-executive Chairman/Deputy Chairman roles have included work within two further education colleges and a major NHS Trust.
His personal interests include family and local history research, photography and travel.
